The Fiat Doblò 2023 has just been presented as Fiat's new light, spacious, efficient and versatile van. This new model, which is available in three versions (VAN, Crew Cab and Combi) and two different body lengths, is the perfect mobility solution for both private and professional drivers due to its high efficiency, load capacity and wide range of safety systems.

The new Doblò 2023 and its all-electric version, the Fiat E-Doblò, will be manufactured in Spain, at the Vigo plant of Stellantis, where other models of this company such as the Opel Combo or the Peugeot Rifter are produced. It will soon be available at Automares, Fiat dealership of the Concesur Group, where you can discover all the details and features of the new Fiat van.

The new Fiat Doblò 2023 and E-Doblò will take advantage of the existing K9 program that serves other Stellantis brands, such as Peugeot and Opel. Hence, the exterior image of the new van is familiar, as it adopts many of the design features that characterize the company's vans.

At the front, the new Doblò sports elongated headlights that join a grille that runs the width of the vehicle. Below, the Fiat logo and a bumper with air intakes and plastic coating that reinforces its more adventurous side. On the side are the three windows (in the passenger version) or its paneled bodywork, as well as the plastic moldings at the bottom of the front and rear doors, which are sliding, or its defined wheel arches.

Depending on the version, the Doblò 2023 has a vertically opening tailgate or two independent panels. There are also vertical tail lights and a plastic bumper that provides a very low loading mouth to facilitate access and exit from the trunk. The exterior of the new Doblò is available with 16" alloy wheels or steel wheels with trim, and in different paint colors.

Large capacity interior

The interior of the Fiat Doblò 2023 has been designed with special attention to vehicle comfort. The aim is to offer a stress-free working experience, with acoustic insulation and a suspension designed to reduce shocks and vibrations. In addition, the cabin features provide the highest modularity, sustainability and safety, making the new Doblò a reliable, versatile and flexible companion.

A multifunction steering wheel with integrated controls, a digital instrument panel or an 8" central touch screen for the infotainment system are some of the elements that you will find in the cabin of the Doblò 2023. Also a climate control and a raised center console with controls for the transmission with several cargo compartments and glove compartments. Finally, there is a head-up display that provides you with the most important information so you don't have to take your eyes off the road.

Characteristics and loading

Available in two body lengths (4.4 and 4.75 meters), the new Doblò reaches 4.4 m3 of cargo volume thanks to the Magic Cargo function, which increases capacity by 0.5 m3 and makes it easier to transport long objects such as pipes or ladders up to 3.4 meters long. In addition, there is a compartment under the front passenger seat that further increases space.

There is also a rotating tray to turn the Doblò cab into a mobile office and, in the long wheelbase Crew Cab version, a sliding bulkhead that allows you to modulate the cargo space or passenger seats according to your needs. Other interior features include the class-leading load capacity of up to 800 kg of the Fiat E-Doblò 2023, which can carry up to two Euro-pallets, while the combustion engine version has a load capacity of up to 1,000 kg.

In the passenger version of the new Doblò there is a spacious and versatile interior, as well as a towing capacity of up to 750 kilos. It highlights the openable window in the rear door, the interior with five independent seats and ISOFIX system in the second row, or the so-called Magic Top, a roof with windows that provides more space for storage compartments, a transparent shelf and a rear roof box.

Engines

The engine range of the Fiat Doblò 2023 consists of three combustion engines, two diesel and one gasoline. The diesel engines available are four-cylinder, 1.5-liter turbocharged units, developing 100 hp and 130 hp of power. These diesel engines are available with a six-speed manual gearbox or an eight-speed automatic gearbox (only on the 130 hp version).

The third option available within the range is the three-cylinder 1.2-liter gasoline engine. This engine develops 110 hp power and a six-speed manual transmission. All combustion engines will be available only on the Doblò with VAN and Crew Cab commercial bodywork.

Fiat E-Doblò: the electric van

Available across the range, the Fiat E-Doblò is the 100% electric version of the new van. It is equipped with a 100 kW (136 hp) electric motor and 260 Nm of torque, and a 50 kWh battery that provides enough energy to travel up to 280 kilometers in the WLTP cycle. Its top speed of 130 km/h gives it the capacity to also travel on freeways and highways.

When the battery is depleted, the electric Doblò has a "Quick Charge Mode" for fast charging of up to 100 kW, which allows 80% of the battery level to be reached in just 30 minutes. Three driving modes (Normal, Eco and Power) have also been configured to manage the charge and power of its electric motor. In addition, the introduction of the battery does not involve any structural changes, preserving all the features, dimensions and configurations of the rest of the range.

Technology and security

In addition to being versatile and efficient, the new Fiat Doblò 2023 is also a safe and highly advanced van. Proof of this is the complete package of 17 safety and driving assistance features that make it a benchmark in the segment. As standard it offers the following systems (in passenger version):

  • Automatic traffic sign recognition.
  • Active emergency braking system.
  • Active Lane Keeping Assist.
  • Driver attention alert.

In addition, the new Doblò is equipped with the advanced Grip Control system, with several driving modes that improve performance both on and off-road. The Hill Descent Control system allows total vehicle control on gradients of more than 3%. Finally, technologies such as parking sensors, 180º camera or DAB radio are part of its equipment.
