The Mercedes EQA is the smallest member of the Mercedes EQ range of electric vehicles. Since its introduction last year, the range has been increasing with the addition of new versions such as the Mercedes EQA 300 4MATIC and EQA 350 4MATIC. Now, the range of powertrains adds a fourth option that is the most efficient and has the longest range of the entire range, the new Mercedes EQA 250+.
The new EQA 250+ is the longest-range version of the EQA range thanks to a new battery with high power density. This is combined with the efficiency of its propulsion system, which has the lowest fuel consumption in the range without compromising on performance. Thus, the EQA 250+ offers a perfect balance between performance and range, with a large load capacity, and all the benefits of manufacturing quality and standard equipment offered by the 100% electric SUV Mercedes EQ.
Engine and range of the Mercedes EQA 250+
The Mercedes EQA 250+ shares its 140 kW (190 hp) asynchronous electric motor with the EQA 250 version and the Mercedes EQB. This drive develops up to 385 Nm of torque, goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds and has a top speed of 160 km/h (100 mph). Energy consumption in combined cycle (WLTP) is between 15.3 and 16.8 kWh/100 km, making it the most efficient version in the EQA range.
The big novelty is its new battery. The EQA 250+ opts for a higher capacity unit, with 70.5 kWh instead of the 66.5 kWh battery of the 250, 300 4MATIC and 350 4MATIC versions. This gives the 250+ version of the EQA extra range between charges. In combined cycle, the range is up to 21.5% longer than the EQA 300 4MATIC and 350 4MATIC, and up to 7.5% longer than the EQA 250.
The homologated range according to WLTP is between 489 and 531 kilometers in combined cycle, while the range in city ranges from 631 to 677 kilometers homologated. This makes the Mercedes EQA 250+ one of the most efficient and longest-range models in the Mercedes EQ range.
In addition, the EQA 250+ retains the excellent charging capacity of its lithium-ion battery. It supports recharging at fast charging stations up to 100 kW, which takes just 35 minutes to go from 10% to 80% of the battery's charge level.

The Mercedes EQA 250+ is available, like the rest of the range, with three different equipment lines: Progressive, Electric Art Line and AMG Line. Among the standard equipment of the Mercedes EQA 250+ Progressive are the following components:

The Electric Art Line trim line, which is no extra charge over the Progressive version, adds modern rose gold interior accents to the EQA 250+, backlit trim elements and special new 18" alloy wheels. On the other hand, the AMG Line version includes a distinctive design touch with a sporty body kit, dark tinted heat-treated glass and standard 18" AMG alloy wheels. And the Mercedes Night Package gives that distinctive touch to the EQA with numerous black aesthetic details.
