The new Mercedes T-Class has just been announced as a minivan with room for the whole family. The new compact minivan Mercedes Benz presents an attractive design that moves away from conventionalisms generally attributed to vans and replaces them with elements of a passenger car. Thanks to a wide range of standard equipment, the T-Class is the perfect choice for those who want everything and are not willing to give up anything. In addition, a complete range of engines allows the T-Class to be adapted to the needs of each driver, with efficient, high-performance engines.

Mercedes T-Class features

Based on the new generation of the Mercedes Citan, the T-Class is characterized by its compact exterior dimensions. It measures 4.5 meters long, 1.86 meters wide and 1.81 meters high. At the moment, the Mercedes T-Class is available in five-seater configuration, but a variant with long wheelbase and up to seven seats will be added to the range in the coming months.

It also does so for its range of engines, which includes two gasoline and diesel engines with up to four power levels. The range includes the 102 hp T-Class 160 and the 131 hp T-Class 180, both four-cylinder gasoline engines. The diesel options are the 95 hp T-Class 160 d and the 116 hp T-Class 180 d, the latter with Overpower and Overtorque functions that increase power and torque to 121 hp and 295 Nm, respectively.

The engines are associated with six-speed manual transmissions as standard. Optionally, all versions of the Mercedes T-Class 2022 (except the T-Class 160) are available with a 7G-DCT automatic transmission with dual clutch and seven gears. The range will be completed with a 100% electric version to be called Mercedes EQT, which will be available by the end of the year.

Finally, the new T-Class offers the latest technological advances from Mercedes Benz. Elements such as the MBUX infotainment system will make your trips more comfortable by integrating connectivity for your smartphone through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as the optional navigation package with voice control "Hey Mercedes". It is also a safe vehicle with a wide range of active and alert driving assistants.
