The new Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe is equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. It consists of a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with two electric motors that develop a combined power of 381 hp and a combined torque of 637 Nm. The system is coupled to an eight-speed automatic gearbox and a Quadra Trac II or Quadra Drive II 4×4 traction system with a two-speed transfer case.

A lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 17.3 kWh gives you the ability to travel up to 48 kilometers in electric mode or 51 kilometers in urban cycle. The propulsion system offers three driving modes (Hybrid, Electric and eSave) that allow you to manage the power and battery charge.
