The current Mercedes-EQ model range consists of nine vehicles that demonstrate the commitment of Mercedes-Benz to electrification as a future mobility solution. Three versions make up the range of the Mercedes-EQS EQS. The electric sedan is available in three power levels and three ranges of autonomy. The most performance version on offer is the Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+, with 484 kW (658 hp) of power and a 0 to 100 km/h of just 3.8 seconds. It also offers four-wheel drive and a range (WLTP) of between 513 and 571 kilometers in combined cycle, or up to 625 kilometers in urban cycle.

The second version by power level is the Mercedes EQS 580 4MATIC. In this case, the maximum power is 385 kW (523 hp), it can go from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.3 seconds and its range in combined cycle is between 584 and 692 kilometers, and up to 730 kilometers in urban cycle.

Although this performance in electric mode is enough to place it as the electric Mercedes with more homologated autonomy, there is still a third version within the EQS range that offers greater electric range. The Mercedes EQS 450+ beats all records and becomes the electric car with the longest range of Mercedes-EQ.

All the technical characteristics of the Mercedes EQS 450+

Specifically, the Mercedes EQS 450+ is equipped with a 245 kW (333 hp) electric motor located on the rear axle. This motor, which delivers 565 Nm of instant torque, is powered by a lithium-ion battery with 108.4 kWh of energy capacity. Thus, the EQS 450+ achieves an electric range in combined cycle (WLTP) of between 629 and 783 kilometers on a single charge.

If this figure is extrapolated to the homologated range in the urban cycle, the electric sedan records between 668 and 836 kilometers per charge. This record-breaking range is unrivaled in the market and makes it the electric car with the longest range in the world. All this without sacrificing great performance, with 0 to 100 km/h reached in just 6.2 seconds and a top speed of 210 km/h.

The Mercedes EQS 450+ has the DGT's Zero Emissions environmental badge and is certified with a mixed consumption of 19.7-15.6 kWh/100 km. It also offers different charging solutions, from maximum DC charging with a power of 200 kW, which allows it to reach 80% of the battery charge level in just 31 minutes, to home charging at 11 kW.
