Coinciding with the 30th anniversary of NISMO, the sportiest division of the Japanese firm, Nissan reveals this radical version of its popular compact crossover. We talk about the new Nissan Juke NISMO RS.
The Nissan Juke NISMO RS is presented as the most powerful series Juke ever made. Hence its main attraction is its mechanics, an evolution of Nissan's 1.6 DIG-T, which this time reaches 218 hp of power and 280 NM of maximum torque. Being able to be related to a 6-speed manual gearbox in the 4×2 version, or with Nissan's Xtronic 8-ratio gearbox and paddle shifters behind the steering wheel in the version with the ALL MODE 4×4-i torque-sensitive all-wheel drive system. Reducing in the latter case the power to 214 hp to optimize it to the automatic transmission.
To maximize the performance of this powerful engine has been improved body rigidity, new settings have been applied to suspension and springs, and has given the Juke Nismo RS of an effective braking system. All this to make this particular Juke an insatiable beast devouring miles.
Its exterior image also exudes sportiness. Its 18-inch light alloy wheels stand out, along with numerous small red details that create an attractive contrast with the rest of the bodywork. The Nissan Juke Nismo RS will be on sale in Spain from January, with a very special launch offer for the version with six-speed manual transmission and 4×2 traction.
