22.05.2013. DGT WILL CONSIDER RAISING THE DRIVING AGE - Grupo Concesur

Last Monday, May 20, the Director General of the DGT María Seguí stated during the presentation of the book "Mortalidad de jóvenes en accidentes de tráfico" by Julio Laria de Vals, that the DGT plans to study raising the age to start driving or to implement a gradual system so that young people are incorporated to driving in a staggered manner.

Aunque según Seguí, el debate para subir la edad de conducción ya es antiguo, la DGT no dejará de estudiarlo aunque ahora mismo no sea una prioridad.

All this with the aim of putting an end to the high accident rates and to improve the driving and training of young people.
