Jeep Avenger e-Hybrid, more efficiency and performance with an ECO label

Since its launch, the Jeep Avenger has proven its success as an interesting, practical and efficient urban proposition. Available in electric and gasoline versions, the Avenger is an ideal choice if you are looking for a dynamic, equipped SUV with authentic Jeep DNA.

Now, the range of the urban SUV expands with a third mechanical option that combines efficiency and performance. The new Jeep Avenger e-Hybrid brings a clear reduction in fuel consumption and emissions, while adding Jeep's innovative light hybrid technology that gives it access to the ECO environmental label.

The new Jeep Avenger hybrid, for which orders will be accepted at the end of November, joins a range of engines that already includes the electric Avenger and the gasoline Avenger. It is positioned as an intermediate option in terms of electrification, without plugs or charging times. The Avenger e-Hybrid brings you comfort in use and fuel savings.

The Jeep Avenger e-Hybrid engine

The basis of the propulsion system of the new Avenger e-Hybrid is a powerful three-cylinder 1.2-liter gasoline engine capable of delivering up to 100 hp of power and 205 Nm of torque. This is joined by a 48-volt lithium-ion battery and an innovative 6-speed dual-clutch electric gearbox, which houses a 21 kW, 55 Nm electric motor, an inverter and the central transmission unit.

The additional electric power gives the hybrid Avenger more torque at low revs and allows for quiet starting and the ability to maneuver with the gasoline engine disconnected. In addition, in urban driving at speeds below 30 km/h, the e-Hybrid version of the new Jeep Avenger can travel up to 1 km in all-electric mode.

Similarly, Jeep's light hybrid technology takes over the ignition of the gasoline engine and allows a series of short forward movements, for example, during a traffic jam, without using the accelerator thanks to the e-creeping function. It also improves the performance of the new Avenger, going from 0 to 100 km/h in 11 seconds.

The Avenger e-Hybrid can also be parked in 100% electric mode with the e-parking function, which saves gasoline, while the battery is recharged through energy recovery during deceleration phases or through regenerative braking, making it unnecessary to plug the vehicle into a charger.

Jeep's light hybrid technology has a clear advantage in terms of fuel consumption and emissions, with a reduction of up to 15% inCO2 emissions compared to a combustion engine with automatic transmission. Average fuel consumption stands at 5.1 l/100 km, while homologatedCO2 emissions range from 111-114 g/km. Thanks to this, the Avenger e-Hybrid has an ECO environmental label.

Features of the new Jeep Avenger Hybrid

At the same time, the hybrid SUV has been equipped with a 7" or 10.25" e-Hybrid instrument panel with information on the light hybrid propulsion system, driving mode, engine status and power meter readings.

Two connected services packages have also been designed for the Avenger range. On the one hand, the Connect ONE pack, which provides assistance and safety in case of need; and, on the other hand, the Connect PLUS pack, with a wide range of connected services mainly focused on navigation.

On the other hand, the Avenger e-Hybrid is a true Jeep and has outstanding technologies such as hill descent control and the Select Terrain system standard on all versions. This system has up to six different driving programs, including Eco, Normal, Sport, Snow,Mud andSand modes.
