Mercedes B-Class interior

The interior of the 2022 Mercedes B-Class B-Class sports the main features of the compact range of Mercedes Benz. On the dashboard, a dual screen up to 10.25" for the advanced MBUX infotainment system, which includes a digital instrument cluster and a dedicated touch unit for multimedia functions.

Mercedes B-Class trunk

Mercedes B-Class 2022 engines

In the engine section , the Mercedes B-Class 2022 is available with five different engines, all four-cylinder and adapted to the current Euro 6 emissions standards. These engines are efficient, powerful and designed to offer an almost perfect balance between performance and low consumption.

The offer includes two gasoline engines in the Mercedes B-Class. On the one hand, the B 180 is a 1.3 turbo with 136 hp of power and 200 Nm of torque. It is available with both a six-speed manual transmission and a seven-speed 7G-DCT transmission.

The Mercedes B-Class 200 version, like this interesting offer currently available, uses the same 1.3 turbo engine, but with 163 hp of power and 250 Nm of torque. Also common to the B 180 are the two gearboxes.

The Mercedes B-Class diesel engine offer includes three different options. The B 180 d is a 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine with 116 hp and 280 Nm of torque. This engine, like the other diesel engines, is associated with an 8G-DCT dual clutch 8-speed gearbox as the only option. Homologates an average consumption of just 5.2 l/100 km.

An intermediate version is the B 200 d, which boosts the figures of the 2.0-liter engine to 150 hp and 320 Nm of torque. It is also available with the 8G-DCT automatic transmission and achieves a fuel consumption of just 5.1 l/100 km. And finally, the B 220 d, the most powerful of the range thanks to its 190 hp and 400 Nm of maximum torque. Like the B 200 d, it achieves a fuel consumption of only 5.1 l/100 km.

Mercedes B-Class plug-in hybrid

The range of engines is completed by the Mercedes B-Class plug-in hybrid EQ Power. Named B 250 e, this version combines the performance of its gasoline engine with the efficiency of its electric drive and its great autonomy. The basis is the 1.3 turbo engine of 160 hp with 200 Nm of torque, accompanied by an electric unit of 75 kW (102 hp). The result is a power output of 218 hp and torque of 450 Nm.

The system is linked to an eight-speed 8G-DCT automatic transmission that sends power to the front axle. A 15.6 kWh lithium-ion battery allows it to travel up to 66 kilometers in 100% electric mode, or up to 72 kilometers in the urban cycle. In addition, it achieves an average fuel consumption of just 1 l/100 km and_CO2 emissions of only 23 g/km. The Mercedes B-Class 250 e benefits from the 0 Emissions label of the DGT.
