Peugeot E-3008, the new generation of Peugeot's electric SUV lands with up to 700 km of autonomy

The Peugeot 3008 is one of Peugeot's most successful SUV models. It combines habitability, design and performance in a practical vehicle format for everyday use. The new Peugeot E-3008 is the first member of a new generation of electric SUVs of the brand, a technologically advanced car that introduces efficient 100% electric propulsion systems of new generation.

The electric Peugeot 3008 is the first model to use the new STLA Medium platform from Stellantis, an architecture that allows it to offer three different propulsion systems and two types of battery. In addition, the new E-3008 will become your preferred choice for daily commuting or road travel with maximum comfort and the best electric performance.

The new design of the Peugeot E-3008

The fastback SUV concept is intensified in the new Peugeot E-3008. Its design has been conceived with a dynamic and aerodynamic style that is intensified mainly at the rear. The front, on the other hand, features LED headlights with characteristic lion claws, a grille with a specific pattern and a sporty bumper design.

From the profile, the 3008 electric sports a coupe-inspired roof, muscular lines and large wheel arches with protective cladding. And at the rear, a revolutionary design with a sloping rear windshield, new taillights, a generous trunk lid and a robust, aerodynamic bumper.

The color range of the new Peugeot E-3008 is composed of six different paints: Okenite White, Black Pearl Nera, Artense Grey, Titanium Grey and the new Ingaro Blue and Obsession Blue. In addition, the Peugeot E-3008 GT includes a gloss black roof, matching the protections of the bumpers, running boards and wheel arches. Finally, different models of 19" and 20" wheels have been designed.

In terms of measurements, the electric Peugeot 3008 is now larger than ever. It measures 4.54 meters long, with 1.89 meters wide and 1.64 meters high, and a wheelbase of 2.73 meters.

An interior with the new generation of the Peugeot i-Cockpit

A new generation of the popular Peugeot i-Cockpit system debuts on the Peugeot E-3008. The brand's revolutionary driving position evolves to offer enhanced performance thanks to the 21" curved, floating panoramic screen that combines the digital instrument panel with the central touchscreen.

The interior of the new Peugeot E-3008 now features a newly developed steering wheel with touch-sensitive controls, minimalist styling and an enveloping driving position. The console features i-Toggles, which provide personalized access to up to 10 different vehicle functions, as well as an LED ambient lighting system with 8 available colors.

In addition, the 3008 electric has been equipped with a 10-speaker Focal Premium Hi-Fi system and a wireless charging point for mobile devices. The cabin has also been configured to offer up to 17 storage spaces with a total volume of 34 liters, in addition to a trunk with 520 liters of cargo capacity.

Peugeot's most efficient electric motors

The new Peugeot E-3008 is also responsible for launching a new generation of electric propulsion systems. The range of engines of the electric Peugeot 3008 is composed of three different versions.

The range-entry option includes a 157 kW (210 hp) electric motor with 343 Nm of torque. It is powered by a 400 V lithium-ion battery with an energy capacity of 73 kWh, allowing a range of up to 525 km per charge.

The most efficient propulsion system in the range is the one that combines a 170 kW (230 hp) and 343 Nm of torque electric motor with a new 98 kWh lithium-ion battery, with a long range estimated at 700 kilometers.

Finally, the most powerful option is equipped with two electric motors. On the front axle, a 157 kW (210 hp) and 343 Nm of torque unit. On the rear axle, a motor of 83 kW (113 hp) and 166 Nm. The result is a propulsion system with all-wheel drive and a combined power of 240 kW (326 hp), powered by a 73 kWh battery that announces up to 525 kilometers of range.

The new 3008 electric includes several charging options for the battery. There are two types of on-board charger: a standard 11 kW three-phase charger and an optional 22 kW three-phase charger. It also supports fast charging up to 160 kW, allowing to go from 20% to 80% of the battery level in 30 minutes (on the 73 kWh battery).

Other highlights of the propulsion system of the new E-3008 are the V2L (vehicle-to-load) function, the V1G (intelligent charging) function and regenerative braking with 3 levels of retention (low, medium and high).

Finally, the new Peugeot 3008 electric offers four driving modes that allow you to configure the behavior of its propulsion system. These include normal, Eco, Sport and 4WD modes (only on the all-wheel drive version).

Technology and security

The new Peugeot E-3008 is a safe, technological and connected car. Thanks to the latest generation of the Peugeot i-Connect system, with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, the electric 3008 features an "OK Peugeot" voice recognition system, services connected with the My PEUGEOT app and various USB-C sockets scattered throughout the cabin.

At the same time, its technological endowment includes newly developed advanced safety and driving assistance systems. These are the most outstanding:

The price of the new electric Peugeot E-3008 has not yet been officially announced. However, the commercialization of the new Peugeot electric SUV will begin at the end of this year 2023 and you can buy it in Automares, official Peugeot concession of Concesur Group for the province of Seville.
