Peugeot Warranty: the brand now offers up to 8 years of coverage

The warranty is an agreement between the manufacturer and the buyer in which the former assures that the vehicle will operate correctly and faultlessly for a specified period of time. Any mishap that may arise within that period will be automatically remedied and covered at no additional cost to the customer.
This commitment to peace of mind for the car owner represents an important part of Peugeot's brand philosophy. Therefore, the brand has decided to go a step further and offer its customers a new warranty that goes up to 8 years of free coverage. This new program is not only a guarantee of peace of mind for the customer, but also a demonstration of the safety and confidence Peugeot has in its electric cars.
Peugeot Allure Care, Peugeot's new warranty for electric cars
In order to make the transition to a 100% electric vehicle easier and more natural, the brand is launching the new Peugeot Allure Care program, a new 8-year or 160,000 kilometers warranty that debuts with the new Peugeot e-3008.
Not only customers of the new generation Peugeot 3008 will benefit from the Peugeot Allure Care program. The brand has decided that it will be extended to all other electric cars currently on sale, including the e-208, e-2008, e-308, e-308 SW and, in the near future, the new Peugeot e-5008 and e-408.
The new Peugeot warranty is available for its range of electric cars, covering the electric motor as well as the transmission, the charger, and the main electrical and mechanical components. In this way, Peugeot's official warranty coverage equals the warranty already offered by the brand on all its electric vehicle batteries: 8 years or 160,000 kilometers.
In order to enjoy this complete warranty, Peugeot automatically activates free coverage intervals of 2 years or 25,000 kilometers after each maintenance service performed in the brand's Official Workshop Network, such as Automares, Official Peugeot Dealership of Concesur Group.
Peugeot's objective with this innovative initiative (it is the first European brand to offer such extensive coverage on its vehicles) is to simplify the transition to a 100% electric car. In this way, the owner can enjoy an electric vehicle of the brand with the peace of mind of being fully covered for 8 years or 160,000 kilometers against any possible breakdown or mishap.
