This year marks the 105th anniversary of Daimler's first creation of the 4×4.

It was at the beginning of 1907 when the company Daimler-Motorcem-Gesellschaft (DMG) created the Dernburg-Wagen, a revolutionary vehicle with four-wheel drive. The engine with a power of 4 cylinders and with a distance between the wheels and the ground of 32 cm also had mechanisms to facilitate driving.

Throughout history Mercedes has expanded its range of off-road cars such as GL or the well-known G-Class, which last July was presented with a new line.
