The basis of this system is a 100 kW (136 hp) electric motor with 260 Nm of torque that drives the front wheels. This mechanics is powered by a lithium-ion battery 400 V and 50 kWh capacity, sufficient to approve a range (WLTP) of up to 362 kilometers between charges.
The 208 electric allows you to choose between three driving modes (Eco, Normal and Sport), with which you can promote the range or improve performance, since it only needs 8.1 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km / h. To this must be added two levels of engine braking thanks to the "Break" mode and the Moderate and Increased configurations. And finally, it offers a very effective regenerative braking system, especially in the city, as it uses the energy generated during constant braking to recharge the battery.
