After a lighter growth in the months of July and August, the new vehicle market closes the month of September with strength, growing by 26.2% with a total of 57,010 transactions. This means that in the first nine months of this year, sales of 640,673 units have been accumulated, 17.2% more than in the same period of 2013.

In this way, and partly thanks to the important influence of the Pive Plan, which is now in its sixth edition, 13 consecutive months of growth have been achieved, corroborating the good health of the new car market in our country, which is currently one of the few economic sectors registering growth of over 10%.

However, the main employers' associations once again insist that, despite the very positive data, the accumulated volumes are still low for an economy such as Spain's.

The vast majority of the brands of the Concesur Group's dealerships also benefit from this significant post-summer growth. In September, Mercedes-Benz sales in Spain increased by +67.6%, Hyundai by +20.9%, Nissan did the same with a growth of +45.4%, the Japanese Honda achieved an increase of +17.4%, while Opel and Peugeot grew by +50.9% and +23% respectively. On the other hand, the urban Smart, awaiting the arrival of the new Fortwo and Forfour at dealerships, saw its sales fall by -8.2%.
