The Mercedes EQE SUV will be the new addition to the range of Mercedes EQ electric models. After the arrival first of the Mercedes EQE and, later, the Mercedes EQS SUV, the brand is preparing for the launch of a new model that will combine the benefits of an SUV with the efficiency of a 100% electric car, with the quality of Mercedes Benz and the latest technology and safety systems.

Scheduled for its world premiere on October 16, 2022, the new five-seater EQE SUV is one of the most spacious representatives of its class in terms of head, leg and elbow room for passengers. All this mix of habitability is coupled with an interior that has been fully digitized, high-end details and the most exclusive luxury finishes of Mercedes EQ.

The interior of the Mercedes EQE SUV

The MBUX Hyperscreen optionally available inside the Mercedes EQE SUV will implement the latest advances in digitalization. The entire front of the dashboard thus becomes a large 1.41-meter-wide widescreen display composed of three separate monitors: a 12.3" instrument cluster, a 17.7" multimedia display and a 12.3" co-driver display, all merged into a single glass panel that provides information and entertainment for the driver and front passenger.

The exterior fans have a turbine design and are part of the ambient lighting system that harmonizes the interior room of the EQE SUV. The cabin ventilation strip continues visually into the front doors, while the front section of the center console joins the instrument panel. Separate door modules integrate the controls for the electric seat adjustment as well as the handles that allow the doors to be opened.

The interior of the Mercedes EQE SUV is available with a selection of traditional materials and colors to create a special ambience. Five color combinations comprise warm and cool tones, and merge with elements such as wood or aluminum, as well as a selection of high-end fabrics for the seat upholstery, center console and dashboard, and door panels.

New Mercedes EQE SUV on the way

The Mercedes EQE SUV will be the brand's new addition to the Mercedes EQ range of 100% electric vehicles. It will be positioned as a slightly smaller version of the EQS SUV, from which it will adopt many of its technological and safety features. Meanwhile, the mechanical offer will be composed of electric motors shared with the new EQE.

Thus, it is expected the arrival of up to two different engines to make up the mechanical range of the EQE SUV. A variant called Mercedes EQE 300 offers 180 kW (245 hp) of power and a range of up to 631 kilometers (values approved in the EQE sedan) thanks to a battery capacity of 90.56 kWh. The EQE 350 version raises the power to 215 kW (292 hp) and maintains the same range figure, but with a significant improvement in performance.

Also with Mercedes-AMG versions

It is logical to also expect the arrival of at least two high-performance Mercedes-AMG variants, which will deliver top-level performance along with the maximum efficiency of the EQ range. In the EQE 43 4MATIC two electric motors offer up to 350 kW (476 hp) of power, a 4MATIC all-wheel drive system and a range of up to 532 kilometers thanks to the 90.56 kWh battery.

On the other hand, the Mercedes-AMG EQE 53 4MATIC+ version further raises the performance of its electric drive system. Two permanently excited synchronous motors develop up to 460 kW (626 hp) of power, with maximum peaks of up to 687 hp in specific situations. The battery is common to the rest of the range and allows the highest-performance variant of the range to achieve a range of up to 518 kilometers between charges.

The debut of the new Mercedes EQE SUV is scheduled for October 16. Soon we will know more details of this new model that will join the Mercedes Benz EQ range in the coming months. In Grupo Concesur we have the latest news in new Mercedes cars, used and km 0, guaranteed and with immediate delivery.
